Cristiano Ronaldo has announced his retirement from international football at age 41 after a 23-year career with Portugal, ending his national team tenure following a fallout with manager Jorge Jesus. The record-breaking forward, who scored 146 goals in 234 caps and led Portugal to titles at Euro 2016 and two Nations Leagues, will continue playing for Saudi club Al-Nassr until the end of the season as he pursues his 1,000th career goal.
